I’m busily working away on upcoming books, researching communes,
organic farming, shopping malls and making dollhouses for two different
SuperRomances.
(Did you know that shopping malls make money on
Santa and his elves? That the early-morning senior walkers cause
more trouble than they’re worth? That mall management doesn’t
have keys to any of the stores?)
I have the best job. I get to find out tons of cool stuff and
meet amazing experts and get paid for it, too. Well, not exactly
paid for it, but you get the idea.
It’s almost too good to be real. Am I dreaming? Pinch me.
Ouch. I’m awake, all right. And, for all the luxury of setting
my own hours and working in cutoffs and bed head, there are the
agonies, too--the plot snags, the unlovable characters, Dead Brain
Syndrome, the angst of self-doubt. Every career has its ups and
downs, right? I wouldn’t change a thing. Well…maybe
that Dead Brain deal….
My next four books will be for Harlequin’s SuperRomance
line, which is new for me. I’m liking the emotional complexity
and intricate plots I can fit into the longer length. Upcoming
books have the working titles A HOME FOR CHRISTMAS and A HOME FOR
LOVE. Can you guess my themes?
When the books are officially titled and scheduled for release,
I’ll let you know on my blog, which you can see
here. Check back frequently since I’ll be updating it
often.
In the meantime, since my next releases are far in the future,
I’m offering a cool contest opportunity to bring in new readers! Check
it out.
If you’re a social networker, you can read about my travails
and triumphs at Facebook , MySpace, Twitter, eHarlequin,
and, now and then, on group blogs for SuperRomance, Blaze and Deadline
Hellions. Lots of chit-chat, eh?
Elsewhere here, you can learn about
me, read
about or buy
books, and sign up for my on-line
newsletter, which will let you know when a new book is
out.
Here’s to all the reading pleasure you can stand.
All my best,
